CCF is a funding scheme that provides financial support to lesser-known charities that address local social needs. The Fund was established in 2013/2014.
Each year, we ask our colleagues to nominate worthwhile causes that are personally meaningful to them. Once selected, we provide these non-profit organisations with financial support, and also encourage our Community Ambassadors to volunteer their time, energy and skills wherever possible. Since 2013, we have assisted more than 160 lesser-known community programmes to achieve their social missions.
CCF calls for nominations every February and March. Nominated charities will be invited to present to the Judging Panel between April and May, and the grant results will be announced in July of that year. Each organisation must submit a progress report within 3 months of a specific project’s completion.
The Public Affairs Department (PAD) will work with a Judging Panel to vet the nominations. After a shortlist is created, PAD will make recommendations to Swire Properties’ CE for funding approval and distribution.
